The founding series is a collection of 50 hand-finished Jardin D'Ailleurs Silk Quartiers. Crafted as an invitation to join our circle of early patrons, each of these Quartiers includes a signed archive card documenting your piece's unique place in the series and your role in Maison Kébou's founding.
Named after the French word for "quarter," the Quartier is Maison Kébou's signature scarf silhouette. Its creation involves a meticulous process of cutting delicate strips of silk twill on the bias.
This Quartier features our inaugural signature print: Jardin D'Ailleurs. Envisioned as a watercolor interpretation of an archival 19th-century French textile, the vivid color palette and enduring motifs draw inspiration from the Orientalism movement, popular in France during the Belle Epoque.

La Posture
Wear form-fitting base layers, or undergarments to capture your truest proportions.
Stand naturally upright with feet together, breathing easily to allow for a natural, comfortable fit.
Ensure the measuring tape remains parallel to the floor at all times, resting gently against the body without tension.

Waist
Narrowest point of the natural waistline, typically located just above the navel.
Hips
With feet together, capture the widest part of the hips and seat.
